Children we help
We provide OT service for children with ASD, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, sensory integration difficulties, hand writing challenges, insufficient attention span, trouble following direction, challenges perceiving and navigating space, poor timing and sequencing of motor skills,. In addition, we provide recommendation for the parents to assist the children to cope the challenges that they may encounter on a daily basis, such as but not limited to emotional regulation, sleep difficulties, self-care skills training, difficulties with regulating their energy level, postural insecurity and abnormal responses to various sensory stimuli.
Our Service
We provide home-based occupational therapy service which can be more flexible to accommodate the schedule of the family. The treatment goals care family-kids centered that will be better to adapt the needs of the children and their family based on the functional level of the children.
Service Provider
Haixing Li, MS, OTR/L, SIPT, a New York and New Jersey State certified occupational therapist with 14 years of experience in working with children with special needs in the hospital, school and private practice settings that enable Haixing to develop more customized intervention plans to meet needs at varied stages in different context. As a national certified ASI/SIPT practitioner, Haixing specializes in sensory integration and sensory processing. Haixing is holding certificate of Therapeutic Listening which enables Haixing to embedded a developmental and sensory integration perspective into the intervention, and SOS feeding that can be helpful to provide advise for children with limited selection on the diet varieties.

Our visual motor integration skills program is designed to support children with difficulties in attention span, handwriting, scissoring, spatial awareness, colors, and coordination etc. This program is always in conjunction with fine motor skills training to help the children in a more holistic manner.

We provide comprehensive OT evaluation for children by utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical observation to understand the functional level of the children in a more holistic way which is helpful for us to develop more appropriate intervention goals and plans to match with the children.

We provide parent training to assist the carry-over of the OT session throughout the week, to provide recommendations to set up daily routines, such as sleep and eating patterns, and to suggest the strategies to improve attention span and self emotional/behavioral regulation. In addition, we may incorporate school-based related services to help children and their families in a more comprehensive manner.
FEE EXPLANATION
Private Pay Service
OT full evaluation: $500 - includes an evaluation and a written report.
OT Consultation: $175/hour - includes attending IEP meeting (both virtual and in person), recommending strategies if parents are not intend to receive follow-up services. We will provide a written report/treatment goals.
OT treatment session: $140/45 minutes
Out-of-Network Billing
We are out-of-network provider so full payment of service is due the day of service. We will provide a super bill for you to submit a claim to your insurance company if you have a out-of -network benefit. Depending on your insurance plan, out-of-network benefits may be payable after your deductible is met. Written reports will be provided upon request from your insurance company as needed
